QA Internal Briefing – Course Information Template

QA Internal Briefing training was held on June 8, 2023, using Microsoft Teams as a platform to conduct the training. The briefing session is scheduled for academic staff from the Faculty of Islamic Sciences and Faculty of Languages. This briefing effectively raised awareness about Course Information Template using Table 4 form that provided by Malaysian Qualification Agency (MQA). The Table 4 is a guideline for the implementation of the teaching and learning activities. A Malaysian Qualification Framework 2.0 (MQF 2.0) is an updated version of the MQF that has been implemented in Malaysia to provide a standardized framework for qualifications in the nation. As a quality assurance mechanism, the MQF 2.0 is designed to ensure that qualifications issued by Malaysian institutions meet international standards and are recognized by the international community.

There are eleven learning outcomes. The eleven learning outcomes of MQF 2.0 are contextualized applications of knowledge and skills. These learning outcomes include knowledge and understanding, cognitive skills, practical skills, social skills and responsibilities, communication skills, values, ethics, professionalism, leadership and Participant also able to know how to map CLOs to teaching and learning methods and assessment methods. They also determined course credit using Student Learning Time (SLT) and notional hour, based on the “Garis panduan Penulisan Program Akademik”, Ministry of Education Malaysia. this event has been organized by the Quality Assurance (QA) Unit and will have future training extensions.
