Objectives

The objectives of the RDI are as follows:

• To promote and coordinate research, publication, training and consultancy activities of the University in line with the objective of Islamization and application of knowledge.
• To organize and conduct applied and policy research for the benefit of this country as well as other countries of the Muslim Ummah and, in particular, for helping the Muslim countries to incorporate Islamic values within the different aspects of their activities including economic, financial, social, political consistent with Maqasid al Shariyyah.
• To assist in the development and production of teaching materials for the University and to be shared globally for the promotion of Islamization and application of knowledge.
• To cooperate with other institutions of similar objectives.
• To promote the research and publication activities of the academic staff of MEDIU.
