The meeting was held on Thursday, July 13, 2023, between the Research Development and Innovation (RDI) of Al Madinah International University and Yayasan Amanah (YAUM), Kuala Lumpur. This is the introductory meeting from the RDI of AI-Madinah International University, which was headed by Prof. Dr. Asma Binti Abdul Rahman as a Deputy CEO of the Research Development and Innovation Division. The main objectives of this meeting are to introduce Al-Madinah International University as one of Malaysia’s leading private Islamic universities, as well as to exchange ideas and plans to collaborate with YAUM on research, development of models, methods, and systems, innovation, training, courses, and other activities in the various fields offered by YAUM.
The RDI team met with Tan Sri Dr. Mohd Yusof Noor, the Chairman of YAUM. In this introductory meeting, Tan Sri Dr. Mohd Yusof Noor briefly explained the services and functions provided by the YAUM. The main activities of YAUM are to receive, manage, and administer endowments, donations of funds, and assets. YAUM also carries the responsibility of sponsoring research works and or projects organized by anybody or any organization that has the same goals as YAUM and publishes the results of all or any such research, is in line with the objectives of RDI, Al Madinah International University. This introductory meeting was successfully conducted, and the RDI team was able to identify the services provided by YAUM, Kuala Lumpur. This meeting was forwarded to the RDI team to schedule the meeting with the Board of Directors of YAUM, Kuala Lumpur, looking forward to cooperation in the near future.
