This briefing was held on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 in Lecture Room 5 at Al-Madinah International University, Kuala Lumpur. This is the first briefing for year 2023 which was presented by Prof. Dr. Asma Binti Abdul Rahman as a Deputy CEO of the Research Development and Innovation Division. The Fundamental Research Grant Scheme (FRGS) is a research grant program in Malaysia that supports fundamental research projects across various disciplines in science, technology, engineering, social science, and humanities. The program aims to enhance knowledge development, innovation, and creativity in Malaysia by providing funding for projects that promote scientific and technological advances, social and economic development, and cultural heritage preservation. The main objectives of this briefing are to encourage researcher to do a research that generate new ideas and innovation and apply this FRGS Grant via MyGRANTS system.
